Machete madness on Monash Freeway

Masked men wielding machetes ran through traffic on Melbourne's Monash Freeway after a two-vehicle crash near the Belgrave Hallam exit. The incident occurred around 2:30pm, forcing hundreds of motorists to stop or flee up the exit ramp as one attacker banged a machete on vehicles in what may have been an attempted carjacking.
