As presidential election polls tighten in key US states, Donald Trump and his supporters are already laying the groundwork to challenge the legitimacy of the result if he loses. As part of his campaign, the former president has repeatedly accused the Democrats of cheating, and begun sowing the seeds of doubt about the integrity of the election.
