Today's reading is from Mark 10:46-52 about Jesus healing blind Bartimaeus's sight. Bartimaeus was dependent on other people to take care of his needs. He was probably at the same place daily, but this day, he encountered Jesus. Bartimaeus took a chance to shout out to Jesus to help him. Faith seems to be the very fact of crying out to Jesus with the hope He would step in and save our situations.
