A New Book on the Making of 'Mad Max: Fury Road'
All Of It - A podcast by WNYC
For many, the Oscar-winning "Mad Max: Fury Road" (2015) is one of the best, if not the best, action films ever. George Miller's return to the post-apocalyptic wasteland world of the Mad Max series was nearly 20 years in the making, and it only got crazier when filming began. In the new book, Blood, Sweat & Chrome: The Wild and True Story of Mad Max: Fury Road, author Kyle Buchanan presents an oral history of the beloved action film, with over 130 interviews with the cast and crew of the film, including Miller, as well as stars Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy. Buchanan joins us to discuss the project and the legacy of "Mad Max: Fury Road."
