All Of It - A podcast by WNYC
"Cyrano" is a new film starring Peter Dinklage, which tells the story of a man named Cyrano who is in love with a woman named Roxanne. But Cyrano struggles to tell her because of his insecurities about his own physique. The story is adopted from the famous five-act play, "Cyrano de Bergerac", written in 1897 by the French writer Edmond Rostand. Screenwriter Erica Schmidt joins us to discuss the film and what it was like to adapt the play for the big screen.
