From the archives: Ed Bacon's November 13, 2005 sermon preached in response to IRS allegations of campaign intervention because of an anti-war sermon preached on the eve of the 2004 election at All Saints Church in Pasadena.
During the IRS investigation All Saints Church adamantly maintained that preaching an anti-war, anti-poverty and pro-choice sermon was political but NOT partisan, and therefore not a violation of the IRS code. After two years the IRS dropped the case.
