Episode Eighteen - Boris' Birthday- stars Rosalin Kuiper and Boris Herrmann from Leg 5 during The Ocean Race 2023. Listen along as Rosalin Kuiper and Boris Herrmann talk happily from the ocean about Boris' Birthday at sea. They then talk excitedly about the World Record and how happy they are so happy! They then explain why they lost 8 miles in the night as they had to move out the way for a big ocean seismic trawler that had 7 miles trawlers behind it. They had a radio altercation but ultimately had to change course for a long time. The duo confirm that the Earth is in fact round and that they will get in touch with the Flat Earth Society to let them know that it is pretty conclusive. Arrival timing from 3am to Monday night but they can't be sure at the moment.
