In this video, I provide tips for hosting a coaching conversation or coaching dialogue that allows you to help others grow. In this video, I give you questions to ask that help others reflect on the issue at hand and determine what they can do to work through their own ideas to find solutions.</p> <p>Create space for learning: Keep your conversation a judgement free zone. Refrain from assuming you know the "why" behind their reasoning or that you have the answer. Say less, Listen more.</p> <p>Give less advice: Avoid offering advice in the form of a "why" question. Instead of "Why did you make that decision?" ask one of the "What..." questions.</p> <p>Be okay with silence: People need time to think when you ask "What..." questions.
