In that show, we break down some of the traditional sea shanties you will find. ATTN Celtic Musicians. I’m looking for some good stories to share. You see, I also host the Pub Songs Podcast. Always good company...#,-)"   James Martin emailed: "Hey Marc, not sure if you’re helping to share musicians streaming or not, but there’s a guy up in Seattle who streams music for 2 hours on Saturday evenings (7:30 to 9:30 pst) if anyone is looking for an Irish Music Fix on the weekends. He’s on Facebook under “That Irish Guy”. I can across him randomly and thought I’d share!" Daniel Flowerdew emailed a question: "Hello ?? first I wanted to say I have been listening to your podcast since the early 2000’s. I have always enjoyed it and have found a ton of great music through it! One of which I am trying to find! I wanted to contact you to see if you could help. It was maaaaaaany years ago. I believe it was something like “Wandering Mary” ? It was about a woman that waited by the shore for her William, eventually joined a ship crew, found him cheating on her so she shot him and then became a pirate. Maybe “Dreaded Mary” ? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for all of the great tunes and humor throughout the years." I don't really have time to help people find songs. But I threw out a few suggestions and eventually figured out he was looking for "Devilish Mary" by The Whiskey Bards. That was in episode #40 from 2007. If there is a song you're looking for, you should definitely check out the Irish & Celtic Music Club on Facebook. It's a great resource for finding more Celtic music. And there are a lot of listeners who are a part of the group.
