Forgiving is not Reconciling

Life in Progress - A podcast by Angely Dub

Forgiving is not reconciling. While forgiveness is an essential virtue, it does not necessarily lead to reconciliation. Forgiveness involves letting go of resentment and anger towards someone who has wronged us, freeing ourselves from negativity. However, reconciliation requires both parties to actively work towards rebuilding trust and repairing the damaged relationship. It involves open communication, understanding, and a willingness to address the underlying issues that caused the rift in the first place. Forgiving may be a step towards reconciliation, but it is not the ultimate solution; true reconciliation requires effort from all parties involved.
