Why My “Great Things” Are Not for Everyone

Life in Progress - A podcast by Angely Dub

In a world where conformity is often praised, it can be difficult to accept that not everyone will appreciate or understand our accomplishments. However, it is important to recognize that our achievements and passions are unique to us, and may not resonate with everyone. This realization can be liberating, as it allows us to focus on what truly matters: our happiness and fulfillment. It is essential to acknowledge that people have different interests and priorities. What may seem like a great achievement to one person might hold little significance for another. Our individual experiences shape our perspectives, making it impossible for everyone to share the same enthusiasm for our accomplishments. Moreover, societal expectations play a significant role in shaping people's perceptions of success. Society often defines greatness based on wealth, fame, or social status. However, true greatness lies in pursuing what brings us joy and satisfaction rather than conforming to external standards. Furthermore, personal growth and fulfillment come from following our path rather than seeking validation from others. By focusing on what truly matters to us individually – whether it be artistic endeavors or intellectual pursuits – we can find genuine happiness and contentment.  Follow me on IG: https://www.instagram.com/angelydub/ Follow Life in Progress on IG: https://www.instagram.com/lifeinprogressph/ Follow me on Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@angelydub   Hosted on Acast.
