Recent chatter suggests there's a chance the Celtics cut Lonnie Walker in training camp, which is always possible with the deal he's on but it begs the question ... why sign him at all if you're just going to send him to the G League? Is Lonnie Walker really a G Leaguer now? John Karalis of Boston Sports Journal says not only should Walker not go to Maine, sending him there would be bad for the G League team and get in the way of the guys who need developing.
