When you love the job, you become a very busy man. Captain Bob Faas of the Montgomery County, MD Fire and Rescue Department is busy. When he's not running jobs out of the Gaithersburg, MD (28) station, he's planning and coordinating events as the Vice president of the FOOLS International or he's coordinating HAZMAT or Technical Rescue with Maryland Task Force 1 or he is instructing with On-Scene Training Associates. The list goes on and on for Bob and he wouldn't have it any other way. But along the journey he has learned about the other important things in life, family. His family supports his constant on the go mentality because they know he needs that to be himself. But they ground him and he needs them to just as much for the recharge. 32 years in the fire service and he's just getting started. Bob continues to push himself to be better which will make everyone around him better. A great epsidoe with plenty of take aways. Bob Faas has so much to offer and his passion and love of the job is unwavering. -- Find Bob Faas on social media to carry on the conversation.
