With over 30 years with the Atlanta, GA Fire Department, Todd Edwards hasn't slowed down after retirement. In fact, things are just getting going!! Todd is a student of the fire service. His early upbringing in the fire service began under his fathers command; a committed volunteer Fire Chief who demanded the very best training could offer. Todd learned very early on how important training was and the influence it has on ones' career. Finding his way to Atlanta, GA, he worked under a Captain who again instilled the importance of training during Todd's early years. Even on a typical 20-25 run day, there was always time to train. This stayed with Todd over the years and the passion for training has lead him to start, Fire Life Training Associates. Including his wife and kids, Todd's training company has a "student first approach". Designing his training based upon the people and departments he's training allows for a more practical training environment for those involved. Focusing on the mission and sharing his experiences ensures for a lasting experience. The fuel is the process and Todd is certainly not slowing down anytime soon. Todd can be found teaching and instructing all over the country sharing his love of the job. -- Todd Edwards can be reached at [email protected] or check out his training company at www.firelifetrainingassociates.com.
