The People's Chief. This is what I think about when Mo Davis consumes my mind. 27 years with the Houston, TX Fire Department, District Chief Mo Davis has worked in the toughest parts of the city and he wouldn't have it any other way. He speaks about protecting the citizens he was sworn to serve and it doesn't matter who they are or what they need. On their worst day, they call and we respond, period. We make the situation better at all costs. Words can easily be spoken but it's what you do with them that matters. Mo's early years formed him into a man of action. He talks, but everything he says is backed up with action. Leading from the front, endorsing his people and making sure the public is protected. These core principals consume him and his daily routines at the firehouse. A champion for those that work beside him, he cherishes their accomplishments and pushes them to be at their best at all times. "Little kids are dying when we're not on our game". Powerful words from a powerful Chief. We all need Mo Davis in our lives. A powerful episode with an incredible human being.
