Ep. #30 ~ Open Houses Of Worship: A Conversation With Raksh

Welcome to The Inception of Wonder Podcast! I’m Erik Freiburger. First, I want to give a word of thanks to The Calgary Interfaith Council & the I-CARE Taskforce who together are partnering with The Inception Of Wonder in hosting five Open Houses of Worship. We are visiting local worship centres across Calgary including St. Stephen’s Protomartyr Ukrainian Catholic Church, the Calgary Hindu Society, the Calgary Buddhist Temple, the Al-Madinah Islamic Assembly, & the Temple B’nia Tikvah Jewish community. Together we can build bridges of greater understanding, combat prejudice & hatred, & foster a deeper sense of wonder to the divine story in our city. Raksh is an amazing soul & it was truly wonderful to be able to sit with him for awhile & spend some time getting to know one another. I could really sense the deep pride he has for his family, his culture, & the way he’s been able to serve & grow in Canadian society & the business community. His faith is one that sees the best in all people & holds a deep love for the betterment of all humanity.
