Learning to Live with Endometriosis

The Only Endometriosis Podcast You Need - A podcast by Sarah Darwen - Duminică

This week, we’re having a real and honest conversation about what it actually means to live with endometriosis. Because let’s be clear—managing endo (and working with me) isn’t about finding a magic cure. It’s about understanding your symptoms, recognising what triggers them, and building the confidence to manage them in a way that works for you.I’ll be sharing the journey of a lovely client who’s just finished her programme with me. Her pain has reduced, her anxiety has eased, and her cycle is healthier than it’s ever been. But has her endo gone? No. And that’s the important thing—because learning to live with a chronic condition isn’t about eliminating it, but about reclaiming control. We’ll cover three key things:🔹 Endo is chronic. No doctor, no treatment—natural or medical—can guarantee it will disappear forever. What we can do is build a strong foundation for better, healthier days.🔹 We are human. Some days we stick to the plan, other days we eat the pizza and deal with the bloating later. But stress and anxiety play a huge role in how we experience symptoms, and I’ll talk about breaking free from the symptom/trigger cycle.🔹 Healing isn’t linear. Even when you have everything “figured out,” life happens. Triggers happen. Some days you’ll feel amazing, others you’ll struggle. And that’s OK. The key is learning how to pick yourself up gently and keep moving forward. If you’ve ever felt like you’re failing at managing your endo, this episode is for you. Let’s talk about why that’s simply not true, and how you can build confidence in looking after yourself—no perfection required. 💛 Get full access to Halcyon Days at halcyondaysuk.substack.com/subscribe
