HOUR 1 - Lawrence rumors run wild, Callas football knowledge, Jason Mackey

The hot rumor of the day – Trevor Lawrence to the Steelers? Sides are being taken and the report looks all but dead, but a few aspects still seem fishy. Our buddy Mark Kaboly said there’s no way the Steelers even picked up the phone – why? The Jags have a new coach, no GM and a Top 5 pick – why does it seem so ridiculous that they would move on from Lawrence? We reviewed some of Harry Callas’ football knowledge. PG columnist Jason Mackey joined the show. Jason reacted to the Spencer Horwitz news and how much the Pirates knew when they traded for him. Jason does think there could be another move, but he doesn’t think it will be some ‘huge’ move that resurrects their offseason. Jason said Ke’Bryan Hayes feels good and the team thinks he could have his back issues solved, but admitted it’s a tricky situation. The guys switched the discussion to hockey and if the Four Nations Face-off is the last bit of big-time hockey we will see Sidney Crosby play.
