David Cook is an American rock/pop singer/songwriter who rose to fame after winning the 7th season of American Idol in 2008. Prior to Idol he released an independent album entitled Analog Heart. This was followed by his post-Idol major-label debut David Cook, which was released on November 18, 2008, and has since been certified platinum by the RIAA.

David’s second major album This Loud Morning was released on June 28, 2011. His third post American Idol and fourth overall studio album Digital Vein, was released in 2015. An EP, Chromance, was released on February 16, 2018.
Cook also made his Broadway debut playing Charlie Price, in Kinky Boots on April 3, 2018, and would play a limited run through May 5. Cook returned to Kinky Boots for a second limited run starting July 17 to September 9, 2018.
David is always busy writing songs in Nashville and touring to take his music to the fans!
