Sadie Robertson Huff: Friend of Fear

At such a young age, today’s guest has already accomplished more than most do in their entire life. Sadie Robertson Huff rose to fame on her family’s reality show, Duck Dynasty, followed by finishing runner-up on Dancing with the Stars. She joins your hosts to discuss her journey battling fear and anxiety. Sadie speaks to the stress of living a hypocritical lifestyle—one where she looks perfect on social media but struggles with herself and her romantic relationship. Knowing God was with her, Sadie began to push back on her fears and went viral with a stripped-down YouTube video showing the world who she really was, "imperfections" and all. Sadie also opens up to the Lautners about motherhood: how it has helped her with things like body image but how new things, like mom guilt, have been challenging. She shares the story behind the name of one of her books and her ministry, Live Original, and then one of our Lemon 11 questions exposes the story behind her podcast name, WHOA That’s Good. For Sadie, so many things in her life changed when she learned to not let fear call the shots. We hope that this episode inspires you to lean into your fear and Live Original — just like Sadie. Om Podcasten

When life gives you lemons, what do you do with them? Over here at The Squeeze—we talk about it—"it" being our mental health and well being. Host Taylor Lautner's (no, not that guy, but she is married to that guy) introduction to mental health was at a young age, witnessing friends and family suffer in ways she couldn't fully understand. She started a nursing career in the peak of the pandemic and has been struggling with her own mental health ever since. Tay is joined co-host, husband Taylor Lautner, in addition to celebrity and expert guests to further the conversation surrounding mental wellness. At the end of the day, we're all pretty similar; even those living in the lime-est of lights can be weighed down by sour lemons. In addition to sharing coping strategies and stories, we hope that above all, this podcast offers the comfort of knowing you are not alone.
